Who's behind it

Our Fells has been a passion project for Lee since 2024. Having returned to Cumbria after a number of years living away, he was a bit underwhelmed with the options available for tracking Wainwrights, as most people were using two apps: one for tracking, one for maps and navigation. The original concept was to combine both into one app, but after over two years in development, and with support from an amazing team of early adopters, it has evolved into a fully fledged hiking app capable of competing with the big names. But Our Fells is more than an app. Our mission is to build something truly special for the Lake District by flying the "leave no trace" flag, supporting local businesses, and eventually donating a percentage of any profits to local causes like Mountain Rescue.
